<Our Philosophy>

We are pursuing a perpetual dream to bring out the latent potential of Koshu grapes nurtured in the Japanese climate and to directly confront challenges.
It is our greatest goal and reward to write the first page in Katsunuma's wine-making history of our wines becoming internationally respected and bringing joy to our global customers.

There are many wine producing countries known widely for their longstanding tradition of high quality wine production.
While respecting the many local wine makers of the world, we pursue the maximization of the wine making potential of the Japanese natural climate, and we are striving to produce our locally fermented Katsunuma wine which is made within the local climate and culture, and which cannot be made anywhere else.

With this belief in our winery, while we pay due respect to the history of Katsunuma's viniculture and wine making, we believe that it is time to boldly put an end to out-dated wine making systems in order to blaze a new path in wine making in Katsunuma, Japan, and produce internationally competitive wines. Our Aruga Branca wine range was the pioneer product which first set foot in this uncharted territory.
Through these efforts, we expect the pursuit of wine making in Katsunuma to this day in which ordinary wines were kept producing , will change and be aimed at producing premium wine for the whole world, while taking advantage of the blessings of nature and steadily furthering and testing our perpetual pursuit of improved cultivation and fermentation techniques.
It is our mission to pursue the maximum potential of Koshu grapes and deliver world-class premium wine to the people of the world.
It is our dream to revitalize the local wine industry through this project.
